Psalm 107:8 Let them give thanks to the Lord for his faithful love and his wondrous works for all humanity.
This verse calls upon us to give thanks for God’s faithful love and His wondrous works. God translated His love into action for all humanity through providing a way of reconciliation for us through Jesus Christ.
John 3:16 reminds us: For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
Notice the invitation to believe is open to everyone, all of humanity. It is my prayer that if you don’t believe that you will.
How can we not give thanks to God for that great love that brings forgiveness, peace and joy.
Let’s pray,
Father God,
I do in this moment thank you for your faithful love and that you extended that love to all humanity, even a wretched sinner like me. I know my sins and I know there aren’t enough good deeds that I can do to wash away my sins. Thank you for sacrificing Your Son to be my atonement. Thank you for reconciling me into a supernatural love relationship that lasts for eternity.
